Interim Controller

We have partnered with a client in the greater Green Bay area who is seeking an Interim Controller for the next 6-10 weeks.
This is a temporary position.
Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting - Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant regulations - Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making - Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes - Prepare and review financial statements and reports - Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency - Supervise the accounting team and provide guidance as needed Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Proven experience as a Controller or similar role - Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices - Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping and financial analysis techniques - Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage or similar systems - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $50.
00 - $65.
