The exciting position of Admissions Specialist in the Appleton area is a terrific opportunity to work closely with families, clients and funding agencies to ensure a client’s smooth transition into their forever home.
The Admission Specialist is a critical role within our organization and must work collaboratively with regional members of the Operations Management team and other company departments.
As our Admissions Specialist you will be responsible for coordinating the details of new client admissions and assist the Admissions Manager and/or directors in assigned regions.
You will be highly organized, collaborative, excel in communication across numerous platforms, adapt to shifting priorities, and be able to effectively prioritize numerous responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate admission process from referral to 30-day staffing
Coordinate the re-admission of individuals served after short-term absence from services
Maintain prompt and thorough contact with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain an elevated level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
Develop and implement appropriate transition services to ensure the program personnel and the person receiving services are prepared for commencement of services prior to the admission date
Respond appropriately to urgent situations and emergency services for new clients
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships within and between various departments
Work with the Admissions Manager on development of new service options.
Participate in related public relation events as needed.

Qualifications:
2 years of experience in the Human Services field
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Wisconsin Driver’s license with insurance on a personal vehicle
Working knowledge of the admissions process, organizational policies, licensing requirements, administrative procedures, and confidentiality requirements is preferred.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility, autonomy, responsiveness, and a high level of initiative.
