Assistant Teacher

CESA 7 Head Start 0-5 is looking for an individual who is knowledgeable about young children and skilled at guiding their development in an early childhood, preschool classroom setting or is eager to develop these skills! If that sounds like you, we invite you to apply to be one of our nurturing Assistant Teachers, and serve children, ages 3-5, in our classrooms.
We currently have an opening in our Howard classroom located at Suamico Elementary.
We look forward to meeting YOU! Must have a High School diploma, or GED/HSED.
If needed, additional training will be provided to complete child care licensing requirements.
Willingness to complete Child Development Associate or begin coursework toward Associates Degree in Early Childhood within one year is required.
Applicants with a CDA or AA in Early Childhood and/or experience working in Head Start, 4K, or a licensed child care center will be given hiring preference.
Parents of young children who are or have been enrolled in Head Start are encouraged to apply.
This is a school year position.
Assistant teacher position is 27 hours/week.
Hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00 am to 12:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.
84 - $17.
