Job Overview:
We are seeking a FUN, passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher/ Teaching Assistant to join our team.
At Fusion Athletics you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and preparing them for their educational journey.
Duties:
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster a love for learning through hands-on experiences and interactive play
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the overall success of the program
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Skills:
- Literacy education: Ability to teach basic literacy skills such as letter recognition, phonics, and reading comprehension.
- Childcare: Understanding of child development principles and ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment.
- Classroom management: Skill in maintaining order in the classroom and managing behavior effectively.
- Math: Ability to teach basic math concepts such as counting, number recognition, and simple addition/subtraction.
