Sign-on Bonus available to eligible candidates up to $3,000! Location: 1970 S Ridge Rd, Green Bay, WI 54304 Shift Hours: Full-Time 1.
0 FTE (40 hours/week), Day's, Monday - Friday Job Description: Responsible for care of Hip and Knee replacements patients under supervision of the providers and in collaboration with registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Assist patient-centered care through an efficient flow of rooming patients, taking vitals, gathering and informing the provider with a detailed patient history and documentation of patient information.
This team member will also be responsible for entering orders and coordinating diagnostic studies and communicating with other health systems and health care professionals under the direction of the attending physician.
Other duties to include preparing exam rooms, prepping injections, scheduling appointments as needed, along with chart prep and other duties.
This LPN/MA will be a valued team member and be accountable for safe and compassionate care for all patients and their family members in a clinical setting.
Position requires strong communication skills and must be one who enjoys working in a team environment.
Must be willing to support the team with outreach clinic responsibilities.
Travel compensation will be included with outreach responsibilities.
Qualifications: If LPN, WI LPN license required.
If Medical Assistant, graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program, and American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certification required within 3 months of hire.
If not successful in passing AAMA exam first attempt, will allow additional testing period(s) to obtain (not to exceed an additional 3 months post hire).
Basic computer/keyboarding skills, excellent verbal/written communication skills, team player, ability to multi-task, organized, independent and sensitive to patient needs required.
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license required for Screen Team and Employer Clinics as of 8/28/2014.
Additional Information: Position may require rotational travel with other clinic staff when Hip and Knee providers travel to northern outreach clinics.
Compensation for travel time is included.
Responsible for care under the direct supervision of the Provider/Registered Nurse.
Records nursing care given and reports to appropriate person with changes in patient’s condition; consults with RN/Provider when uncertain about nursing or medical act; provides basic health instructions and reinforces teaching by other health team members.
