Position Highlights:
Work location : Bellin Hospital, 744 S.
Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301.
This role can be on-site or work can be done remotely
Work environment : Our Emergency Department includes 22 beds, 4 trauma bays and 18 treatment rooms.
Additional treatment space includes 2 triage rooms and an additional 5 bed Kid Care unit for pediatrics, with approximately 40,000 patient visits per year.
Bellin Health's Emergency Department is a well-equipped unit design by our frontline teams.
Board-certified ED Physicians work in partnership with advanced practice clinicians, Registered Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, Student Nurse Technicians and CNAs to provide personalized care for emergency room patients.
Salary Range is based on relevant years of experience

5 FTE position (20 hours/week)
Job Description:
The Trauma Registrar is responsible for the collection/abstraction of required state and national trauma data bank elements into the state Trauma Registry database on all patients meeting state trauma inclusion criteria as defined by the DHS data dictionary.
The Trauma Registrar maintains the confidentiality of the registry data and provides registry data as appropriate for research.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
Completion of ICD-10 Coding Program within one (1) year of hire required.
If not previously completed, within one (1) year of hire attend: American Society’s Trauma Registration Course or equivalent provided by a state trauma program AND The Association of the Advancement of Automotive Medicine’s Injury Scaling Course.
Minimum 1 year of emergency department or EMS experience required; Minimum 2 years associated work experience required.
