*Job Title:* Accounting Associate *Department: *Finance
*Reports to: *Senior Accountant

*General Summary:*
Accounting Associate duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, monthly account reconciliation, journal entries and client invoicing.
*Job Duties:*
· Demonstrates and embodies the PMI Entertainment Group Culture and Customer Service values.
· Monthly journal entries.
· Record customer payments.
· Prepares invoices and reconciles account receivable.
· Records concession and catering sales.
· Assists with preparing monthly financial statements.
· Verifies discrepancies and resolve client billing issues.
· Cross training within the accounting department.
· Performs internal audits as directed to ensure compliance with Company policies.
· Responds to internal and external accounting questions.
· Responsible for following, observing, and participating in all Company related safety programs, procedures, and training sessions, as well as reporting potentially unsafe procedures.
· Maintains knowledge of new developments in the field by reading appropriate journals, periodicals, and books and/or by attending related educational programs, seminars, and other educational courses.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:*
· Associate degree in accounting or related field and/or 1-3 years of experience in accounting or office environment.
· A minimum of two years accounting experience preferred.
· Microsoft business central and/or Continia experience preferred.
· Must be proficient in Excel.
· Must be well organized and a self-starter.
· Must have a strong work ethic and professional attitude.
· Must be reliable and detail oriented.
· Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
· Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts receivable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures.
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
· Interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively with all levels of company personnel when discussing accounting processes.
· Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
· Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
· Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division quickly and accurately.
· Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality of Company records.
*Other Expectations:*
· Frequent mobility and/or sitting or standing required for extended periods of time.
· Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and standard office equipment.
· Must have ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans.
· Must be available to work some nights and weekends based on Company event schedule.
