We’re searching for an Accountant based at our Green Bay headquarters! This position is responsible for supporting our finance team with daily operations while updating and maintaining our accounting databases.

*As an Accountant at Truck Equipment, you would:*
* Ensure the integrity of accounting information and reconcile any financial discrepancies by performing or directing research of accounting issues for compliance, and establish quality over transactions and reporting
* Handle AP, updating entries, issuing payments, ACHs, positive pay transactions and reconciliations
* Handle AR, banking transactions, cash drawer and credit card entries and reconciliations
* Periodically improve and document all accounting control procedures, identifying system issues and making suggestions for improvements and cost savings and efficiencies
* Assist in year-end audit requests
* Transfer accounting/reporting knowledge to other departments where appropriate
*Ideally, you will:*
* Have an Associate’s degree in accounting,, or related experience
* Have 1+ year accounting experience
* Have high personal integrity; ability to keep customer and company confidences
* Possess thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
* Be a strong communicator, both verbal and written
* Have excellent organizational skills required
* Be proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
* Be flexible and team orientated
