We are now hiring for full-time Entry-Level General Labor positions.

While reporting to the Mill Superintendent, you will be responsible for setting up machines for producing customers' orders, this means being able to multi-task and work with different specifications relating to each order.

You must have the ability to work with various teams and successfully troubleshoot, and adjust equipment as needed.
What you'll be doing: Being able to troubleshoot and adjust equipment to ensure production quality that exceeds our customer’s standards.
Setting up new jobs and operate various types of paper manufacturing machinery.
Collaborating closely with other departments and teams.
Maintaining a safe, clean and organized work area.
Performing all duties as designated by supervisor/manager.
Performing all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
Assisting other departments as needed.

Previous machine operating experience (preferred).
Prior Forklift Experience (preferred).
You will need to have exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
You need to have working knowledge of our products and their quality requirements.
Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a must.
You will need to be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Having the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to success.
You will need to have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
You will need to able to perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods of time on concrete floors.
Seasonal Wisconsin temperatures and heat generated from the paper machines influence the temperature of the mill.
Shifts are 12 hours 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am (Rotating).
Qualified applicants must be available to work all shifts on a rotating schedule.
