CNC Machinist

Overview: Immediate Hiring Need for First Shift CNC Machinist $50-55K plus Generous Benefits Plan Our team is looking to add a talented CNC Machinist with Vertical Milling Machines.
You would perform machining operations under direct supervision using mills, drill presses, and lathes.
Responsibilities: Reads and interprets machining instructions from blueprints, part and machine drawings Set up basic tooling on manual mills.
Set up, operates and programs a production work involving some close tolerances Inspect machine parts to ensure they meet proper size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers and other measuring tools and devices.
Performs routine maintenance.
Performs other secondary operations such as stamping part numbers and deburring during machine cycle times.
Assists in other areas and performs additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications(Required): High School Diploma or GED required Must be good at problem solving, Mechanical aptitude Written and verbal communication skills Desire and ability to learn machining Qualifications(Preferred): Technical Degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement 2+ years of relevant machining experience Military experience Benefits: PTO Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance 401K Strong training Program ***Veterans Are Encouraged to Apply***
