POST CLAMP

JOB TITLE: POST CLAMP DEPARTMENT: Final Assembly REPORTS TO: Final Assembly Supervisor DAYS: Monday – Friday HOURS: 6:00am – 2:00pm JOB SUMMARY: Cabinet builder on the assembly line, post clamp.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Install tops and electrical outlets in cabinets if needed Finish installing screws or staples to cabinets before removing from the clamp Pair doors and tops to specific numbered cabinets when sending down the line Must be able to lift heavy objects (taking cabinets out of clamp and lifting tops) Alert lead or Supervisor of any discrepancy in specifications or measurement Watch for and report any concerns of quality in product Needs to work well with coworkers to create a constant smooth flow of product on the assembly line Willingness to cross train, with opportunities to learn and perform tasks or responsibilities outside of the primary job role Other tasks and duties as assigned JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School or Equivalent Experience: 6 months or more working in production Physical mobility sufficient to accommodate bending, reaching, lifting, and gripping up to 50 lbs.
Basic math skills to include fractions and decimals, including conversion Ability to read a tape measure quickly and accurately Computer knowledge Have good attention to detail Effective oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to learn quickly and desire to take on new projects Must present a professional image Team player Training in Lean Manufacturing preferred
